My mother likes to bid on things from eBay but has trouble figuring out when the
the auctions will end since eBay uses 24 hour time and always shows time PST.
After she missed a few auctions, I wrote this simple program to do the conversion
for her.
Here's how you use it:
Start BidTime
Make sure your time zone is set (you only have to do this once)
Either type the time you want to convert into the top box, or copy the
eBay text on the clipboard and press Paste (shortcut: Control+V). You can put in just
an hour and minute (like 3:22 or 14:22 or 03:22) or you can put in the whole eBay
String (Feb-26-02 18:13:13 PST). The program tries to figure out where the time is.
Press Convert
The results appear at the bottom including a note about the date and midnight/noon
issues.
